Hey, I'm Victoria. And this is my story...
I was born into a military family and joined at 18, so structure and discipline shaped me early.
At 22, after leaving a toxic marriage where I no longer felt safe in my own home, I became incredibly resourceful...
...and this decision marked the beginning of my entrepreneur journey.
I rented out my house, became a landlord, and left the country. I had no idea what I was doing but I never looked back.
Over nearly two decades I grew a real estate portfolio (and a new beautiful family) one decision at a time.
In 2019 I purchased a glamping retreat in Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia and needed to fill it.
I had no idea about marketing but decided to try social media...
Our retreat started getting a ton of attention and most importantly - bookings! It put us on the map but it also lead me into connecting with other entrepreneurs just like me.
And for the first time in over 17 years of business, I attended my FIRST networking event. My eyes were opened!
I saw women just like me, doing much bigger things than me and I thought to myself "if she can do it, so can I".
My growth skyrocketed after that, and I've been committed to building my brand and presence online ever since.
I also saw the chaos.
The business community felt like the wild west. Loud promises, little substance and rooms with leaders that did not match my values.
I walked away from organizations that were not aligned, invested in my own development with world class entrepreneurs and business coaches and built the kind of room I needed most - a values first driven community.
Today, I am the founder of BILD Co, an ecosystem that opens doors for small business owners, investors and founders.
It includes BILD Pro, a high accountability coaching community for serious business owners ready to scale, and WE BILD, a monthly networking community for all entrepreneurs with the goal of opening as many doors as possible.
We have since grown to two in person chapters (Ottawa and Toronto) and continue to expand.
I'm in growth mode and here to bring as many business owners, founders, investors and entrepreneurs along the way with me.
